From mine to market: telling the Gemfields story
Gemfields is the world’s leading producer of ethically sourced, rare, coloured gemstones. Setting a benchmark for fair-trade, environmental, social and safety practices, their approach and direct involvement from mine to market is unique.
Gemfields have entrusted us to collaborate with the brand in a multi-disciplinary design capacity since 2014, from distinguishing the brand’s visual expression, through to delivering brochures, invitations, print & digital advertising, exhibition space design, mine signage, gifting cards, uniforms, email newsletters, holiday campaign and everything in between, including the launch of their new global website in 2021.
A sleek, contemporary aesthetic ensures that the ethos of the brand is communicated in an engaging and elegant manner that brings their unique story to life.

We worked with Gemfields to redesign a contemporary and functional website which launched in 2021. The extensive website showcases the multi-faceted business and provides an overview of the mine to market journey that the company undertakes.

As part of our work with Gemfields as an evolving and multi-faceted brand, we worked with them to update their brand guidelines.

During 2020, we worked with Gemfields to concept and create a range of illustrated gifting cards to celebrate holidays throughout the year. The campaign featured hand-drawn gemstones, carefully positioned to showcase relevant different holidays, whilst also incorporating a reference to Fabergé, a member of the Gemfields Group.

Gemfields Foundation is the charitable arm of Gemfields, through which donors can contribute funding to directly support community and conservation projects in Africa. We designed the brand new website for the Foundation, which launched in 2021.
