Tasked with reimagining its identity, we sought to weave the pub's storied past with a fresh, innovative concept that captures the essence of its Michelin-starred menu and Heston's imaginative approach to British cuisine.
Our journey began by delving into the rich tapestry of The Hind's Head's heritage, from its origins as a hunting lodge to its evolution into a celebrated dining establishment. We crafted a new brand identity and website that pays homage to timeless classics while inviting guests on a culinary adventure, balancing tradition with innovation. The result is a brand and website that tells the story of The Hind's Head not just as a restaurant but as an experience, set against the quintessentially British backdrop of Bray.
To visually narrate the rich heritage and distinctive gastronomy of The Hind’s Head, we enhanced the brand’s aesthetic through bespoke illustrations. Collaborating with renowned artist Olivia Knapp, known for her detailed and evocative hand-drawn work, we enriched the brand identity with intricate, hand-drawn illustrations that echo the pub’s storied heritage and its modern culinary ethos. Knapp’s detailed work, featuring the revitalised deer motif and theatrical elements, now adorns the menu designs, signage, and promotional materials, seamlessly blending tradition with contemporary flair.
